EU Health Claim 432/2012 : Olive oil polyphenols help protect blood lipids from oxidative stress.
The claim may only be used for olive oil containing at least 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives (e.g. oleoeuropein complex and of tyrosol) per 20 g of olive oil. To use  this claim, it should be provided to the consumer information that beneficial effects occur with the daily intake of 20 g of olive oil.
